-- Coverage of different types of splints and the decision tree for choosing the right therapy
for each case
-- Tips and tricks for achieving the best possible splint - scanning and analog impressions
-- Live splint adjustment and diagnostic protocol for evaluating joint & muscle changes. Usage
of progressive transfer silk ribbons and digital bite analysis with T-Scan
-- Integration of Airways diagnostics, Upper Airways Resistance Syndrome (U.A.R.S.) and
Obstructive Sleep Apnea (O.S.A.)
-- Axiography and Articulator programming. Casts mounting and analysis. Bite digitization.
Function and Aesthetics will provide the following educational materials:
-- Actual Case including Photos, Mounted Casts (Analog & Digital), Radiographs, Clinical
Examination Findings, and Treatment Outline.
-- CAD-CAM splint and adjustment kit
-- Additional materials: varies from course to course.
Requirements:
-- Minimum 10Mb/s Internet connection
-- PC/Mac Web Camera & Microphone
-- Preferred but not mandatory: Intra-oral or Lab Scanner
-- Mandatory completion of Occlusion 1 workshop. It is also recommended the completion of
Occlusion 2 but not mandatory.
