Digital ⊻/& Analog Restorative Dentistry Dental technology is costly, but it can enable a practice to deliver amazing results faster. Analog dentistry is slow but does offer an unrivaled haptic patient experience. Which to use, when, and in what sequence; learn it all in this workshop!

Agenda, Materials & Requirements

Workshop on campus with hands-on exercise

Agenda:

           --  Overview of current technologies available in dentistry with their advantages and disadvantages

           --  Analog dentistry overview: from fully-adjustable articulators, bi-manual manipulation, magnification to articulation paper, waxing technique, old-fashion patient interview...

           --  Principles laying at the foundation of a healthy practice with happy, healthy patients. Concepts adoption: health management vs disease management

           --  Hands-on exercise with digital and analog technologies: scanners, photography, CAD-CAM (from beginner to advanced), digital diagnostics, interpretation and communication, social media for dentists.

           --  The golden ratio between Digital AND (not vs) Analog for maximum practice & team efficacy and efficiency = the right balance between speed, volume and money.

  

Function and Aesthetics will provide the following educational materials:

           -- Access and protocols for various technologies - CAD-CAM, DVT, Aligner, Microscope...

           -- Additional promotional materials: varies from course to course.


Requirements:

           -- Minimum 10Mb/s Internet connection or in-person workshop

           -- PC/Mac Web Camera & Microphone
